This energy is one of the reasons I have been thinking so much about what it actually means to leave our normal lives for a little while.
I'm not talking about escaping them, but breaking out of the box enough to be able to hear ourselves differently inside.
There is something that happens when we step outside of the routines, responsibilities, roles and environments that normally hold so much of our attention. When we give ourselves enough space to notice what has been underneath all of it.
It is a huge part of why I created these journeys to Egypt the way I did.
In October, I’ll be taking a small group of women into two very different experiences.
Elysia is seven nights on the Red Sea, living aboard our floating sanctuary at Sataya Reef, swimming with wild spinner dolphins, resting, playing, receiving energy work, somatic water therapy, gathering in ceremony and spending our days surrounded by turquoise water.
Sekhem takes us through the temples between the Nile and the western mountains, from Aswan to Luxor, into places I have returned to again and again because of what they have opened in me. Philae. Karnak. Dendera. Seti. Medinet Habu. Sacred spaces, private experiences, beautiful hotels, time to integrate, and a journey through a part of Egypt that has changed my life.
And Lumina Vida is the full journey. The water and the temples. October 3–20.
This dark moon has illuminated and strengthened what I've come to realize.
It's helped me open my eyes and view the world differently as well as how I want to move through it. It's reminding me what happens when something we have been feeling, dreaming about, or quietly knowing finally becomes something we are willing to experience with our whole body.
Registration closes September 14.
There are still spaces available, including last chance pricing for Elysia that can bring your week on the Red Sea down to $1,500 USD.
If Egypt has been somewhere in the back of your mind, or one of these journeys has been sitting in your heart for months, there are only a few days left to decide.
Come with me. 🤍
