Cost shouldn’t be the reason you go without treatment.
Vaginal estrogen cream is usually covered by insurance. Here’s how to be sure:
1. Find your plan’s formulary (the list of covered drugs) in your member portal, or call Member Services.
2. Ask: “Is generic estradiol vaginal cream on my plan’s formulary?”
3. Then ask: “What tier is it, and what will my copay or coinsurance be?”
Not covered? You still have options. A full tube of the generic cream can cost as little as $13 plus shipping at an online pharmacy when available, while retail list prices can top $200. We’ll help you find the lowest price. You do need a prescription.
