There is still time, and there is still space. đź’›
David and I are leading the Getting the Love You Want™ couples workshop right here in DC, August 21–23, and I would love to see you there.
Here's the honest pitch.
You already know the argument. The one you two have been having for years in slightly different costumes. You know how it starts, you know the exact moment it goes sideways, and you know how it ends — one of you shut down, both of you lonely in the same house.
That fight is not about what you think it's about. And once you can see what it's actually about, it loses most of its power over you.
That's what this weekend is for.
Over two and a half days, you and your partner will look at how your histories shaped you, learn to actually hear each other, and practice a way of communicating that you'll be able to use at your own kitchen table for the rest of your lives. You do the work sitting with each other — privately, just the two of you. You never have to air your marriage in front of the room.
This weekend is for couples who are just starting out and want to get it right. It's for couples who love each other but have gone a little flat and miss the way it used to feel.
It is for couples who have done the workshop and want to get a tune up on the skills they know work but have fallen off!
And it's for couples in crisis who are honestly not sure what happens next. I have seen all four couples walk out on Sunday looking different than they did on Friday.
You'll leave with fresh insight, new skills, real energy, and hope.
