Naturopathic medicine is at an important moment in its evolution.

Across the country, issues related to licensure, scope of practice, federal recognition, and naturopathic medical education are shaping the future of our profession—and the ability of qualified naturopathic doctors to serve their patients.

AANP is actively engaged on all of these fronts: advocating for the profession, supporting the education of future NDs, and advancing greater recognition and access to naturopathic medicine.

This work matters not only to our profession, but to the patients who value having qualified naturopathic doctors as part of their healthcare choices.

Founded in 2006 by John Neustadt, ND, NBI began when Dr. Neustadt couldn’t find products that provided the nutrient levels used in published clinical research for his patients and family, so he started creating them himself.
