A beautiful 3-month post-op update! 💗

This lovely patient in her mid-40s and a mother came to us hoping to restore a lifted, more youthful shape while maintaining her natural proportions.

Originally a 34DD, she underwent a breast reduction with lift, with the goal of achieving a balanced, refreshed silhouette closer to a 34D or C cup.

This past weekend, Dr Catherine Hannan MD, FACS had the honor of attending the MediaPSC Fall Film Event in Dallas as one of eight plastic surgeons invited from across the country to discuss some of the most relevant topics shaping plastic surgery today.

What made the invitation especially meaningful was knowing that the educational content she has created over the years played a role in her selection. At WWPS, we believe plastic surgery education should be informative, honest, approachable and maybe even a little entertaining.

This patient came to us seeking an abdominoplasty to address abdominal separation and excess tissue that remained despite an active lifestyle. Because of her complex medical history, her surgical journey required additional consideration, thoughtful planning, and close coordination.

Our board-certified plastic surgeons collaborated with her other physicians to take every appropriate precaution, prioritize her safety, and ensure seamless continuity of care before, during, and after surgery.

Following a carefully personalized surgical plan, she underwent an abdominoplasty with liposuction. Now six months post-op, she is doing beautifully and says she finally feels like herself again.

Excellent results begin with thoughtful planning, open communication, and compassionate care. There are times when we must decline or postpone surgery because it cannot be performed safely and that is always okay. Nothing is more important than protecting the health and well-being of every patient who places their trust in our team.

A beautiful 5 months post-op mommy makeover 💕

This beautiful patient in her early 50s came to us after losing 80 pounds with the help of compounded Mounjaro. She was thrilled with her weight-loss journey but remained bothered by loose skin along her abdomen and inner thighs, despite previously trying Morpheus8 with minimal improvement in these areas.

She also wanted her breasts lifted off her abdomen, with a higher ni**le position and a more youthful shape. Although she had previously worn a DD cup, she presented closer to a B/C cup and did not want to be larger. Because preserving her natural breast tissue was important to her, our board-certified plastic surgeons planned a breast lift rather than a formal breast reduction.

Her personalized surgical plan included a bilateral mastopexy, abdominoplasty and liposuction with Renuvion to the inner thighs. During surgery, liposuction was performed in the inner thigh & Renuvion was then performed to help with skin tightening. Now five months post-op, her breasts sit higher while maintaining their natural volume, her abdominal contour is smoother and firmer, and her thighs have a more refined appearance.

We are incredibly grateful that she trusted our team to be part of this meaningful chapter in her journey. Her results are a beautiful reminder that body-contouring surgery is never about a one size fits all, it is about listening carefully, preserving what matters to the patient and creating a thoughtful plan around her individual anatomy and goals

✨ Revision 🤝 Breast Reduction ✨

This beautiful patient came to us six months after undergoing a breast reduction in Thailand, where approximately 700grams of tissue were removed from each breast. Although she was very happy with her reduction overall, she remained bothered by excess tissue on the left side that extended below the inframammary fold, the natural crease beneath the breast. This made finding and wearing a supportive bra especially challenging.

During her consultation, our board-certified plastic surgeons carefully reviewed her concerns and discussed her revision options. After thoughtful evaluation and surgical planning, we ultimately proceeded with a bilateral breast re-reduction to improve her overall balance, shape and comfort. Liposuction was also performed along both sides of the bra line and through the axillary areas to address excess fullness and axillary breast tissue, creating a smoother transition between the breasts, chest and surrounding areas.

Revision surgery is highly individualized. It requires careful consideration of the patient’s existing scars, breast tissue, skin quality, symmetry and previous surgical results to determine the safest and most appropriate approach.

We are so grateful that this patient trusted our team with the next chapter of her breast journey. Her results beautifully reflect what she envisioned: smaller, balanced and more harmonious with the frame she has worked so hard for.
