Your expertise can help shape the future of BPA

The public comment period is now open for the SCAI / SVM / PERT Consortium Position Statement on the Role of Balloon Pulmonary Angioplasty in the Management of Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Disease. The draft provides best-practice recommendations on patient selection, procedural performance, program initiation, and operator competence.

As more institutions explore BPA and established programs continue to advance, community input is critical. We encourage physicians, multidisciplinary team members, and stakeholders interested in BPA to review the draft and share their perspectives.

Help ensure the final manuscript reflects the needs of the community it serves.
