One of the biggest surprises of getting older?
Realizing that what worked in my 20s and 30s stopped working after 40.
I was eating less.
Working out more.
Trying harder.
And somehow I felt worse.
The belly weight wouldn’t budge.
My cravings were out of control.
I was exhausted all the time.
Sleep was hit or miss.
And I felt like my body was fighting me every step of the way.
What I didn’t understand then was that as we move through perimenopause and menopause, changes in hormones can affect everything from energy and sleep to appetite and weight management.
For years, I thought I needed more discipline.
What I actually needed was more support.
Once I started focusing on supporting my hormones, stress response, blood sugar, and overall wellness instead of constantly dieting, things finally started to shift.
At 50, I’ve lost 48 pounds without extreme diets, endless cardio, or cutting out everything I enjoy.
The truth is, many women aren’t failing.
They’re trying to use strategies that no longer match the season of life they’re in.
