I used to CONSTANTLY ask myself why.

Why did this happen? Why did they do that? Why did I have to go through this? What was I supposed to learn?

A good friend once told me, “Michelle, not everything has to have a deep meaning or reason, sometimes things just ARE”.

That was SO hard for my brain to accept because I thought understanding everything would finally give me peace.

Eventually I realized that sometimes searching for the reason was the very thing keeping me stuck in it.

So now, instead of obsessing over WHY, I ask:

❤️ What am I feeling?
⛓️ What am I resisting?
🎒 What am I still carrying?
❓ What does my body need from me right now?

Because your feelings are part of your health too.

We talk so much about protein, calories, supplements, workouts and ingredients… while carrying years of grief, anger, guilt, resentment, disappointment and pressure like none of it affects the body.

Think about digestion…. you can eat the most delicious meal in the world, but if your body can’t properly process it, you’re going to feel it.

Life can be the same way.

Something happens, your body responds, an emotion comes up… and when we never let ourselves feel it, express it or move through it, we can keep carrying it long after the moment has passed.

Healing isn’t always figuring out the WHY.

Sometimes it sounds like:
“This hurt”
“I wish it had been different”
“I’m angry”
“I’m disappointed”
“I don’t understand it” and still being able to say:

“It happened. I’m here and I don’t have to keep fighting reality to move forward.”

Peace isn’t found in understanding everything but in realizing you don’t have to.

What are you still trying to find a “why” for that your heart might be ready to put down? ❤️

What you focus on is what you attract.
Yes, it’s as easy as that!

Some of the most painful beliefs women carry about their bodies didn’t start when they were adults, they started when they were little girls.

Little girls worrying about being fat, wishing they looked different, learning that their worth is tied to their appearance, counting calories instead of listening to their bodies, and believing they need to shrink themselves to be accepted… No child should have to carry those thoughts, and yet so many of us did.

The woman who struggles with food, weight, self-worth, perfectionism, or body image today is often carrying wounds that began decades ago. This is why healing your relationship with your body matters so much, because it’s not just about losing weight or changing your appearance, it’s about changing the story you’ve been telling yourself for years and ending the cycle for the next generation of girls💕

If this resonates with you, follow along for more conversations about body image, emotional eating, nervous system healing, and learning how to work with your body instead of against her 🤍

You are not here by coincidence, you are meant to be here💫✨

We MUST do better.

For the collective health of everyone: mentally, emotionally, physically, spirituality, you name@it.

Let’s stop pretending like we are not responsible. We have a duty, as mothers, as aunts, fathers, uncles, grandparents, again… you NAME IT.

We must have the uncomfortable conversations with our kids and raise them right.

Teach them what has not been taught. Let’s raise men, not boys.

It’s probably not butterfly season but it is a season for something.

Maybe this is your sign. When I see a butterfly I think of “you’re on the right path”, “everything is going to be okay”, “freedom”.

Butterflies also remind me of one of the hardest days in my life when both my brother and sister in law passed away in a car crash and at the same time my baby that hadn’t turned even one had heart open surgery.

So this is your reminder that whatever it is that you’re struggling with… you are meant to live it.

What’s something that butterflies remind you of?

Last September I was dealing with severe adrenal fatigue, could barely exercise and honestly I can’t believe it’s been a year already.

This actually made me think a lot about my clients when they start their journey with connecting with their bodies and themselves because in a year there is a s**t ton of things that can happen.

I’ve seen it. The growth, the progress, the wins, the ups and downs but I’ve always been there by their side so they can continue their journey and not give up.

Change DOES happen when you stick with it but when you have someone to guide you through it.

I didn’t get better by only doing the things I knew I needed to do, I asked for help and I think that’s one of the bravest things that you can do, and that’s exactly what I did.

Now… a year later I can remind myself that even the worst moments of our life are temporary and that’s why it’s so important to have your network (your people), and I’m not just talking about your friends which of course they are a part of it, but I am also talking about people that have the tools to help you get to a place where you wanna be.

So let this be a reminder that if you finally say yes to yourself and stop putting yourself in the back burner in a year, your life can be so much different.
