Most people think the fastest response wins.
But the pause? That's where your power lives.
When you feel the urge to react - to defend, to fix, to fill the silence - choosing to wait even a few seconds can change everything. It's the difference between responding from fear and responding from clarity.

That's not hesitation. It's not weakness. That's strength in the form of self-mastery.
The most grounded leaders I know aren't the loudest in the room. They're the ones who've learned that their nervous system doesn't have to run the meeting.

Give yourself permission to pause. 🤍

Picture it. You send that email, or make that call... You speak your mind. You hit send. And then… the doubt starts creeping in. You start analyzing every little detail:
The wording. The tone. What you wish you’d said instead.
It can feel like your clarity just vanished. But often, nothing’s really changed about the decision itself- what’s really happening is that you’ve switched from making a choice to scrutinizing it. If you catch yourself in this cycle, try this:
Simply acknowledge it - “I’m reviewing, not deciding.”
Then, give yourself a moment before you dive back in. A few minutes can make a big difference.

A lot of my clients come to me carrying this quiet pressure... this sense that they should be further along by now.
Settled. Over it. Moved on.
But the nervous system doesn't work on anyone else's timeline. When you push faster than you actually have capacity for, you don't arrive sooner. You just arrive running on empty.
So here's the question I'd invite you to sit with: is my current pace something I can actually sustain for the next two weeks? Not the pace you think you should keep - the pace that feels real.
That's where the work actually happens.

🎉 The doors for Project:Rest are open 🎉

I want to celebrate the holiday season and upcoming new year with one of my favorite virtual programs, that I haven’t led publicly in almost a year. And I’m offering it to this group only for 70% off, and only for people that I’ve worked with in the past. I want you to have first dibs on a seat before I open up any remaining seats to the public on December 2.

If you:
✅ Have ever sat down to take a break but feel guilty for doing it…
✅ Can’t find time for rest and self-care…
✅ Try to take time off from work/family, but the to-do list spins in your head for the first half, and dread of returning plagues the second half…
✅ Start your day knowing what needs to be done but you feel like you’re procrastinating (hint: it's probably not procrastination - it's actually burnout)...

Then Project:Rest is exactly what you need.

Project:Rest is the modern-day cure for burnout, fatigue and constant stress.

Remember, with Project:Rest, you don’t have to do anything but show up (from the comfort of your home), and soak in the guided rest meditations, yoga nidras, restorative yoga, and simple tips for getting good rest.

You leave with less burnout, lower cortisol, better energy, and increased resilience to new stressors.

Who couldn't use a little of that right now?

Seats are limited, and this 70% off offer will only last until 11pm on December 2. After that, I’ll open the doors to the public.
