Ana Valeria Aguirre Guemez, MD received the Mulcahey Award for her presentation "Myotome Conversion from Zero Reveals Recovery Beyond Pooled Motor Scores After Cervical Spinal Cord Injury: A Proof-of-Concept Analysis" during the American Spinal Injury Association (ASIA) annual conference in San Antonio, TX.
The Mulcahey Award is given for the best abstract submitted to the annual ASIA conference, in the field of outcomes measurement (or outcomes research) in spinal cord injury rehabilitation.
Dr. Aguirre also received 1st place for Best Oral Talk “Accelerating UTI diagnosis and treatment: real time phenotypic AST based on pooled metabolic activity in neurogenic bladder.”
