Our friends at HSRI are inviting people involved in grassroots advocacy to complete its Views on Organizing, Influence, and Coalition Engagement (VOICE) Survey. The Grassroots Project is a funded initiative of Administration for Community Living.

The survey will help the project understand the impact of grassroots advocacy and learn from the experiences of people working to make change in their communities.

The survey is open until July 24, 2026. https://lnkd.in/eGWzfCZr

Atl Text: Graphic promoting the Grassroots Project VOICE (Views on Ongoing Influence and Coalition Engagement) Survey. The left side features the Grassroots Project logo and the text: "Grassroots Project (VOICE Survey) – Views on Ongoing Influence and Coalition Engagement." The right side reads, "We Value Your FEEDBACK!" followed by, "Scan the QR Code to Complete Our Survey By July 24th." A large QR code labeled "SCAN ME" appears in the center, with the Grassroots Project logo and the tagline "Engage. Empower. Advocate." at the bottom. NACDD knows that many people in the DD community are worried about the recent Department of Justice opinion on Olmstead.

The DOJ said that federal disability laws may not require states to provide services in community settings instead of institutions.

We want you to know that the law has NOT changed!

However, NACDD is concerned that the federal government may change how they protect the rights of people with disabilities in the future.
