We are thrilled to partner with The American Institute on Disparities in Public Health on this year's LGBTQIA+ Oral Health Week under the guiding theme “Queer Health in All Health Policies.”

AIDPH’s recent report at aidph.org/lgbtqia-mapping-divide, released in partnership with CareQuest Institute for Oral Health, finds that LGBTQIA+ people experience disparities in dental care utilization and oral health outcomes. These disparities vary by state and are often more pronounced in states with exclusionary policies.

The Coalition's own State of LGBTQ Health report reveals similar disparities. Learn more at healthlgbtq.org/stateof.

In addition, the UNC Pride Clinic empowers LGBTQIA+ dental students and patients through affirming clinical care. Their approach combines empathy, education, and action, reminding us that inclusion is essential to achieving good oral health outcomes.
