Denise “Neicy” Ann Christian was born on July 22, 1957, in Washington, D.C. She was the eldest of seven children born to the late Elizabeth “Teddy” Christian and Walter “Trim” Thomas. Raised in an unconventional and often difficult childhood, she grew into a strong and resilient woman. From an early age, Denise was shy, nurturing, and protective of her younger siblings, often helping her mother care for them. She attended Cardozo High School, where she enjoyed running track and especially loved gym class.

In 1973, at just 15 years old, Denise welcomed her first child, a daughter named Kisha. With the support of her Aunt Sherrie and great-grandmother, she was able to care for her daughter while continuing her education. Three years later, she welcomed her first son, Michael, with her life partner, Michael White. Together, they later had two more children, Lynda and Alex. Denise also welcomed a daughter, Tikka, with the late Donald. She later reunited with Michael and had two more sons, Anwar who preceded her in death and Stephon. Throughout her life, Denise created lasting memories with her children, often taking them on outings across the city and cherishing their time together.

Motherhood remained Denise's greatest joy, though she also pursued her dream of becoming a hairdresser and attended cosmetology school before stepping away due to personal circumstances. She was a warm, calm, and generous spirit who valued family, hard work, resilience,...

In Loving Memory of Antonio Alante Morris "Tone Tone"

July 26, 1991 - July 30, 2026

With heavy hearts and so much love, we announce the homegoing of our beloved Antonio Alante Morris, affectionately known by everyone who loved him as "Tone Tone." Antonio, 35, was born July 26, 1991 in Washington, DC and was called home on July 30, 2026.

Antonio went to school in Washington, DC until he reached high school where he studied at Roosevelt Senior High School located in Prince George's County. Throughout his life he worked various jobs in different fields, but he truly found his joy behind the wheel, driving and delivering product to his public working with Amazon. He literally drove with Amazon until the wheels came off, proud of the work he did and the people he served.

What everyone will remember most about Antonio was his heart. He loved his family dearly and when he walked in a room, you felt him. His presence was big, his laugh was bigger, and his love was the biggest of all. He was a devoted and incredibly proud father who put his son, Alante Morris, on a pedestal. His legacy lives on so beautifully in his son.

Tone shared a special, unbreakable bond with his younger Big brother "Lump." They had a brotherhood that words can hardly explain. If Antonio could not talk or communicate with no one else in this world, he knew without question he could rely on Lump. That was his safe place.

Antonio drove his Mom crazy, as only a son can, but he also...
