Ever wondered about the man on horseback at the center of Thomas Circle?

The statue honors Major General George Henry Thomas, a Virginia-born general who served the Union during the Civil War. Dedicated on November 19, 1879, the monument has watched over this corner of Washington for nearly 147 years.

Our culinary team has been serving up some seriously delicious dishes:

•Stuffed tilapia served over wild rice
•Spinach and cheese lasagna topped with crispy basil and balsamic glaze
•Dijon-crusted cod with pan-seared Meyer lemon, roasted brussels sprouts and sun-dried tomatoes
•Grilled chicken served over garlic mashed potatoes and finished with microgreens

Sometimes you want the full dining experience. Sometimes you just want to grab a sandwich, a hot meal, or a cup of coffee and keep your day moving.

Our Bistro gives residents another option.

Open Monday–Thursday from 11 AM–2 PM, the Bistro offers a variety of hot and cold selections, a coffee station, and casual seating to enjoy lunch with a neighbor, family member, guest—or one of our team members.

It’s a relaxed alternative to our main dining room and another way we give residents choice in how they spend their day.

Because at Thomas Circle, dining isn’t one-size-fits-all.
