Traci shared how EngenderHealth’s global programs advance menstrual health through education, access to products, and advocacy to transform communities worldwide.

Millions of girls and women still face barriers to managing menstruation safely, but collective action and leadership are creating real change. Cross-generational conversations about menstrual health like that shared during the Talking Circle will help future generations bring more attention to this important health and rights topic.

Dr. Moke Magoma’s residency in a remote region of Tanzania began with a night he would never forget.

Woken at 2 a.m. to perform an emergency C-section, he was told to enter through the hospital’s back door because lions were feeding on a zebra out front.
