Prior to surgery she was always bothered by her heavy and asymmetric brow and eyelids - and wanted a bit more straightening and refinement to her nose.

Another one of my very private patients 🤐 — but so thrilled with her result that she’s allowing me to share a few select views.

This wasn’t our first surgery together. We previously underwent a endoscopic style brow reset, upper blepharoplasty, and rhinoplasty — and was so happy with those results that she came back wanting to address the lower face and neck.

✨ Preservation deep plane face and neck lift with deep neck contouring
✨ Subnasal lip lift with corner lift

The face and neck lift was designed to create a soft, elegant restoration of the jawline and neck — without making her look tight or different.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The lip lift addressed a different piece of facial balance. By shortening the distance between the base of the nose and the upper lip, we can subtly increase upper lip show and improve the relationship between the upper lip, lower lip, and chin.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s a small change anatomically, but in the right patient it can make the entire lower face feel more proportionate and balanced.

At 6 months, everything is settling beautifully. She still looks completely like herself — just softer, more balanced, and refreshed from top to bottom.

A beautiful human, now 1.5 years out from rhinoplasty ✨

She did need a small tip refinement for slight assymetry around the one-year mark. Something I always think is important to be transparent about. Rhinoplasty is incredibly precise surgery, and occasionally even a beautiful result benefits from a minor tweak as everything settles.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What matters most to me is where we ended up: balanced, natural, and completely at home on her face.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Her nose doesn’t announce that she had surgery. It simply fits her better—and she still looks entirely like herself.

If you’re young, permanent facial volume may not be the gift it sounds like 😕
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Fat grafting gets marketed as the more “natural” alternative to filler. And while I love fat grafting in the right patient, I’m actually very cautious about using it in younger faces.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Fillers let us add small amounts of volume - and in younger faces, this is generally to contour facial shape or to camouflage folds and shadows related to early gravitational aging. They fade over time, and can be dissolved.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Fat is different. Once it survives, it’s meant to stay.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And if you add permanent volume to a face that hasn’t actually lost volume yet, that extra fullness may become less flattering as the face continues to change with age - potentially creating weird heaviness or fullness in places you never intended.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For me, fat grafting is a rejuvenation tool, not simply a permanent substitute for filler.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I use it selectively to replace true volume loss and complement the structural changes of facial aging.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Because when it comes to facial volume, more permanent doesn’t always mean more natural 👨🏼‍⚕️

7 months after a finesse male rhinoplasty - designed to improve both breathing and balance, without changing what made his nose look like his.

The goals were straightforward:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✨ Smooth the dorsal hump
✨ De-rotate the tip for a stronger, more natural male profile
✨ Improve symmetry from the front
✨ Improve nasal breathing
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There is still some refinement ahead, particularly through the tip - but the overall shape is already settling beautifully.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For me, male rhinoplasty is rarely about creating a “perfect” nose. It’s about making thoughtful, conservative changes so the nose fits the face better - while still looking completely natural.
