Meet the Owner & CEO:
✨Rachel Currie, MA, BCBA, LBA!✨

Rachel completed her education at Western Michigan University and The Chicago School of Professional Psychology to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

While working in the ABA field, Rachel saw a need for quality services in the Northern Macomb area. As a local resident, it made sense to her to be that person to provide services to children and families in her community. And that’s how Milestones Autism Center was born!

One of Rachel’s favorite parts of her work is watching the progress of the kids we serve and seeing her employees grow as professionals.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time with her Newfoundlands, Winnie and Finn, and her cat, Ink!

We’re so grateful to have Rachel leading our team and making a difference in our community! 🌻 💛

Milestones Autism Center is hiring full-time/part-time Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavior Technicians! This a great opportunity to get hands-on experience if you are interested in pursuing a job in ABA. All information is located on our flier!

✨What is a Behavior Technician (BT)?✨
They are absolute superheroes that work one-on-one with clients to teach new skills, encourage positive behaviors, and help them reach their goals based on programs written by our awesome BCBAs.

✨What is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)?✨
Also amazing superheroes that provide the same one-on-one therapy, but are trained and certified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). If you are interested in becoming an RBT we have the resources and support to help you reach that goal!

💬What is Pediatric Speech Therapy? 💬
Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are therapsits who support children in developing meaningful, functional communication in ways that are authentic and motivating to them. This may include verbal speech, AAC, gestures, signs, or other forms of multimodal communication. SLPs work to build skills such as expressing wants and needs, self-advocating, connecting with others, understanding language, and participating more independently in everyday life; using interests, relationships, and naturally motivating experiences to make communication purposeful.
