🚧 Construction Notice 🚧
Beginning today, June 15, the City will be starting a sidewalk improvement project near Beans Pharmacy. While this is not a WCHC project, it will impact traffic flow, parking, and access to our building for several weeks.

Please allow extra time when picking up your prescription and watch for posted signs directing you to available parking and entrances. Our pharmacy lobby door will remain open during business hours, but access routes to the entrance may change throughout the project as construction progresses.

Our drive-thru remains open at this time; however, access to the drive-thru may change throughout the project. Please watch for signs and cones directing traffic.
If construction makes it difficult to visit the pharmacy, remember that prescription delivery within the City of Washington and mail options are available (some exclusions apply to mailing).

We appreciate your patience and understanding as these community improvements are completed. We'll continue to share updates as we receive them.

Today is World Blood Donor Day! ❤️

We’re proud to recognize the generosity of our WCHC team members who rolled up their sleeves during our recent blood drive with ImpactLife. Thanks to their willingness to give back, 7 units of blood were collected—enough to potentially save up to 21 lives.

Blood donors are everyday heroes, and today we celebrate those who give the gift of life through donation. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make a meaningful difference for patients in need throughout our communities.

Interested in becoming a donor? Visit https://www.bloodcenter.org/donate/locations/ to find a donation location and schedule your appointment.

WCHC was proud to be represented at the Epic Connect & Collaborate Conference, where healthcare organizations from across the country gathered to share ideas and innovations that improve patient care.

Several WCHC team members attended the conference, and Dr. Ryan Flannery had the opportunity to present on the innovative work happening right here at WCHC. His presentation highlighted efforts to help providers use healthcare technology more effectively, improving efficiency, documentation, and the overall patient care experience.

The presentation sparked great discussions with organizations nationwide and showcased how WCHC continues to lead in rural healthcare innovation. It's a great example of our commitment to excellence in healthcare and using technology to better serve our patients and communities.

A big shout-out to our team members who attended, learned, networked, and represented WCHC so well. Thank you for being outstanding ambassadors for our organization and our community!

We are grateful to share that the Washington County Hospital Foundation has received a $500,000 grant from the Helmsley Charitable Trust to support the establishment of oncology services at the future Havel Family Cancer Center.

This significant investment will help bring chemotherapy and infusion services to Washington County, allowing patients to receive cancer treatment closer to home and reducing the burden of traveling long distances for care.

The grant is part of Helmsley's ongoing commitment to strengthening healthcare access in rural communities, and we are honored by their partnership in helping make this vision a reality.

Thank you to the Helmsley Charitable Trust for supporting the future of cancer care in our community.
