She is an Optometric Assistant in our Fairfield location, and we feel very lucky to have her on board. She is very kind, bubbly, and always willing to help out! We will forgive her for being a Chiefs fan.... 😉 welcome Tara!

Why are my eyes watering if they’re actually dry?

It may sound backward, but watery eyes can be a sign of dryness! When your eyes become irritated or don’t have enough healthy moisture, they may overproduce tears to compensate. These extra tears are often watery and don’t stay on the eye long enough to provide lasting relief.

If your eyes are frequently watering, burning, gritty, or irritated, let us take a closer look and help you find some relief!

Why do my eyes need to be dilated?

Eye photos are a great tool, but they don’t always show the full story. Dilation gives your doctor a wider, more detailed view inside your eyes, including areas that may not be fully captured in a photo. This helps us check for early signs of eye disease and other concerns before you may notice symptoms.

The blurry vision and light sensitivity are temporary, but the information dilation gives us can make a lasting difference in caring for your eye health!
