A message from our owner, Courtney Caruso:

My father was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease while I was in graduate school studying to become a speech-language pathologist. At the time, I learned about Parkinson’s through my coursework, but I didn’t truly understand the impact it could have on individuals and their families until I experienced it firsthand with my dad.

We are incredibly fortunate that my father is a fighter. Despite many challenges from Parkinson’s and other health issues, he continues to push forward, even after more than a decade with this diagnosis.

His journey has inspired me to continue my education so I can better support him and others facing this disease. I’m proud to share that I am now a certified SPEAK OUT!® Provider, a program designed to help individuals with Parkinson’s, like my father, strengthen their voices and communication so they can have a better quality of life.

Parkinson’s may try to take away a person’s voice, but with the right support, it doesn’t have to.
