Every year, Disability Rights North Carolina (DRNC) asks people with disabilities , family members, advocates, and others across the state to weigh in about legal issues that are important to people with disabilities. Your feedback helps NC’s Protectional and Advocacy (P&A) agency make informed decisions about how they provide services in our state. DRNC is asking for your input on what issues are most important to people in the disability community. (Deadline: August 23)

We had another fantastic week of Arc with a Spark summer camp!
Last week was our second week of middle and highschool aged campers.
The theme was Dr. Seuss.

Last week was our first week of middle and highschool students. The theme was Christmas in July!
We also took a trip to the fire department!

Last week and this week were our adults 18 and older camp weeks. The themes were space and the beach.
We had 2 special visitors from the Washington police department! Summer sure flys by when you are having fun!

The Saturday Night Jamboree will be hosting their monthly dance for our intellectually and developmentally disabled adults in Beafort County and surrounding areas.
Our next dance will be at the Redmen's lodge on Saturday, July 11th from 5:00 - 7:30. The Redmen lodge will be hosting a summer Hotdogs and Bingo event. We will also have a special performance by the New Missions Class of 15th Street Church of God. Wear your picnic attire or Red, White, and Blue.
