Ptarmigan Pediatrics, LLC Ptarmigan Pediatrics has 7 pediatricians, 5 nurse practitioners, and a lactation consultant on staff to care for your children's needs.

In addition to being a full-service pediatric clinic, we provide Covid and flu vaccine to eligible kids and adults. School and sports physicals, well child exams, and sick visits are just a few of the services we provide! Call our office today for an appointment. We are happy to help you. We can provide Covid vaccine to all eligible ages by appointment.

Ptarmigan Pediatrics, Ptarmigan Connections, and Ptarmigan Therapy will undergo a system-wide phone outage this evening, January 27, 2026, beginning at 6:00 PM and lasting approximately two hours.

During this outage, Ptarmigan Pediatrics’ after-hours phone options and the voicemail systems for Ptarmigan Connections and Ptarmigan Therapy will be unavailable.

Ptarmigan Pediatrics patients and Ptarmigan Connections patients of Dr. Elowyn Smith may contact the Ptarmigan Pediatrics answering service directly for nurse triage support at 907-745-8037. All other Ptarmigan Connections patients may call back after 8:00 PM to access voicemail or email [email protected]. Ptarmigan Therapy patients are encouraged to call back after 8:00 PM, once our phone services are restored.

Ptarmigan Pediatrics is open today while we still have power! We also have water -- if you need water we are happy to fill up 5 gallon water bottles in our breakroom today. Stop by the clinic front desk and ask for Stacy. Be safe out there! Hopefully this is all over soon.

This Friday (7/11) is our SUMMER FAIR! We will mostly be closed to patients for the day so that our employees can help with the event. We will have openings in our Acute Care Clinic for sick visits (by appointment only) from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Our phones will be available from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM. We hope this helps. Don't forget to swing by our FREE Summer Fair from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the clinic!
