What an incredible time at the LINKS Fair!

We are so grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful community event supporting children and families across our region. The energy throughout the day was truly inspiring—families connecting with resources, providers collaborating, and everyone coming together with a shared commitment to helping kids thrive.

As we continue to serve children and families, we are committed to building stronger programs, expanding opportunities, and ensuring every decision reflects our mission and values.

We spent time reflecting on how far we’ve come, celebrating successes, identifying areas for improvement, and setting goals for the future. Growth doesn’t happen by accident—it happens through intentional planning, collaboration, and a shared commitment to excellence. What an incredible summer so far this week at reading camp! ☀️📚✏️

This week has been full of reading, writing, creativity, laughter, and growth with Ms. Erika and Ms. Susan. Students have been diving into hands-on literacy activities, sensory learning, decoding practice, creative writing, games, and confidence-building challenges all week long.

From sounding out words to building stories, every child is making meaningful progress while having fun along the way. We are so proud of the hard work, imagination, and determination our readers have shown already this summer!

At reading camp this week, our learners explored the power of CVC words (consonant-vowel-consonant words) through hands-on sensory play and movement-based learning! ✨📚

From building words in sensory bins to tapping out sounds with movement activities, our campers practiced decoding, spelling, and reading in ways that engaged the whole brain. Sensory-based learning helps children strengthen phonemic awareness, memory, attention, and confidence while making reading FUN! 🎉

“Sneaky E” may be quiet… but it changes EVERYTHING. ✨📚

Today in reading camp, we explored the magic of Sneaky E and how one tiny letter can completely change a word’s sound and meaning!

Students practiced:
🔹 Long vowel sounds
🔹 Decoding strategies
🔹 Word building
🔹 Reading confidence through hands-on games and movement activities
