We’ve been sold the idea that our bodies need help giving birth.
That we can hack labor with spicy food, pineapple, herbs, or a long walk, dates, s*x, acupuncture, ball bouncing and castor oil.
But physiologic birth isn’t something we make happen — it’s something we allow to unfold.
Labor begins when baby’s lungs release a signal that says, “I’m ready.”
Your body responds with oxytocin, prostaglandins, and rhythm.
It’s a conversation between two bodies — not a checklist of tricks.
You don’t need to earn your labor.
You just need space, safety, and trust in your physiology.
