“I honestly don’t have enough words to express what a God send Lilly was to me and my husband. Choosing her as our doula was one of the best decisions we could have made.

My birth didn’t go exactly according to my birth plan since my little one was being very stubborn, but I still had the vaginal delivery I had hoped for, and everything went so smoothly. This week my best friend of nearly 15 years became a mom. We’ve sat next to each other during so many different phases in our lives and now we get to share possibly the most important one of them all. I can’t wait for our babies to grow up together, love, and protect each other the way we always have since we met.

I’m so happy I got to make this keepsake for my Nico to always serve as a reminder of how much of a badass she is for creating life. 🤍

Reflections from Lilly

There’s a moment when postpartum begins to reshape a person. Not just physically, but at the core of who they are. It isn’t always marked by a single event, but rather a realization that settles in during the in-between hours: in the stillness of early morning feedings, in the unfamiliar reflection in the mirror, in the sudden depth of love paired with vulnerability.

Priorities shift without permission, emotions feel both heavier and more meaningful, and identity stretches to make room for something new. In that moment, a person understands that they haven’t simply added motherhood to their life, they have been transformed by it.

I wanted a positive second birth experience, so I chose Lilly as my doula—and her support and care went beyond anything I could have hoped for.
With her guidance, I was able to follow my birth plan and have a natural, no-intervention birth. I even ended up giving birth standing up at the hospital—something I never expected, and I’m still amazed by it to this day.
She also helped my partner feel confident in how to support me, and created an environment filled with comfort and laughter.
