Happy September!🌻🍎 This month we are excited to welcome new musicians AND a certified therapy pony! We’ll also be celebrating Assisted Living Week with themed luncheons and community spirit 9/13-9/18.😊

August may have been a little quiet here on Facebook, but it was anything but quiet around “camp”!🏕️☀️ We packed a whole lot of summer into one month - painting little glowing tents at Crafting Club, toasting marshmallows for s’mores, reading vintage postcards from campers all over the world, singing along to live music around our very own homemade campfire, and enjoying a good old-fashioned summer camp cookout! Most importantly, there were plenty of smiles, plenty of memories, and a whole lot of happy campers.🌲🪵✨ Here's a little August recap of the fun we've been too busy enjoying to post about!📸

We’ve decided to EXTEND our Back-to-School Supply Drive through AUGUST 31ST! 🎉

That means there’s still time to help us stuff Goosille’s backpack and support local students as they head back to school! ❤️

📚 We’re collecting NEW school supplies, including:
✏️ Pencils & pens
📓 Notebooks & folders
🖍️ Crayons, markers & colored pencils
🎒 Backpacks
✂️ Scissors & glue sticks
📏 Rulers, erasers, highlighters & more!

We had a reel-y fun time with our indoor fishing activity!🎣 Our happy campers "caught" goodie bags filled with goldfish and sea creature fruit snacks, then enjoyed some "tackle treats" - chocolate pudding cups topped with gummy worms!🪱🍫

We had a “bear-y” good time decorating these adorable “cub cookies” this afternoon!🐻🍪 The results were almost too cute to eat, but too delicious to pass up!

Our visit with sweet Pearl the Therapy Dog was nothing short of pure joy! This happy CKC Spaniel has the biggest personality and the happiest little spirit. She has a way of making everyone smile, and we're so grateful for all the love, cuddles, and tail wags she shared with us.🥰🐾

What a boot-scootin' good time we had at our very first All-American Hoedown!🐴🌵🇺🇸 Our residents enjoyed an afternoon full of friendly competition, great food, and wonderful entertainment. We were thrilled to welcome a talented square dancing group that wowed everyone with their performance and got us all in the hoedown spirit! We feasted on classic All-American picnic favorites, sipped on ice-cold Coca-Cola, showcased our customized cowboy hats, and wrapped up the celebration with our very own homemade "Rodeo Rivalry" games!🤠🐍
