The jumps. The tube. The heavy lifts. The dunks. The moments you didn’t even plan but wouldn’t trade for anything.

This is your life. And it should feel like it.

Too many people spend their best summers on the sideline because something hurts or something just feels off.

That’s not okay with us.

Chiropractic care isn’t just for when something breaks down. It’s for making sure nothing gets in the way of moments like these.

Two chiropractors. We still get adjusted 3 to 4 times a week.

Not because something is wrong. Because we know what consistent care actually does and we are not willing to go without it.

Summer is one of the highest-demand seasons for your nervous system. The schedule changes, the travel, the later nights, the extra activity. It all adds up in your spine and your stress response faster than most people realize.

Getting adjusted keeps your nervous system regulated through all of it. Not just reactive when something finally breaks down.

If we won’t skip our adjustments heading into summer, there’s a reason for that.

If your child comes home with a headache so often that it’s stopped feeling alarming, that’s the part I want to talk about.

We normalize pain when it’s consistent. But frequent headaches in kids are a sign that something in their body needs attention, not just ibuprofen and a dark room.

Here’s what I see clinically: the upper cervical spine, where your neck meets your skull, is directly connected to the muscles and nerves that feed into your head. When there’s restriction or tension at that junction, kids get predictable, recurring headaches. They usually build through the school day and peak in the afternoon. Especially when they’re on screens or sitting in awkward positions for hours.

The good news is this responds well to care that’s focused on the nervous system and the upper spine. I see kids get their afternoons back.

If your child’s teacher had told you they struggle to focus or pay attention, I want you to ask one question.

Has anyone looked at nervous system?

A nervous system that is stuck in a chronically stressed state cannot focus. It’s not a character flaw or a developmental failure. It’s biology. When the body perceives ongoing low-level stress, it stays in survival mode. Survival mode is not compatible with sitting still, reading, or following instructions for six hours.

What I see in my practice: kids labeled distracted, impulsive, or hyperactive who have underlying spinal stress affecting the way their nervous system regulates. When we address that directly, things shift. Kids calm down. Their capacity to focus increases. Their teachers notice. Their parents notice.

This is not a replacement for anything else you’re doing. It’s asking a question that hasn’t been asked yet.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve worked with a patient who tells me they’re always tight in the hamstrings.

It’s super common and most of us will deal with it at some point in our lives.

Most people will tell you to stretch more, foam roll more or really do anything except for addressing why they are tight in the first place.

Here’s a few drills to try out that can be GAME CHANGERS.

If you want more DM us “HAMSTRING” to get a free 30min consultation to see if we can help you with tightness or any pain that you may be feeling.

Nobody tells you how much your pelvis needs to adapt during pregnancy. 😅

As baby grows, posture shifts, ligaments soften, and new stress gets placed on the pelvis, hips, and low back. It is a lot for your body to handle.

The Webster Technique is designed to target the pelvis and sacrum to reduce tension, improve function, and help your body feel more comfortable throughout pregnancy and beyond.

Dr. Kailey is Webster Certified and is passionate about helping mamas from Day 1 of their pregnancy through postpartum recovery.

If pregnancy isn’t feeling how you expected, we would love to help. 🤍

DM us “Webster” to learn more or book with Dr. Kailey today.
