Your body was never meant to live in survival mode forever.
When we stay stuck in chronic stress, the adrenal glands and nervous system can become overworked leaving us feeling exhausted, anxious, inflamed, disconnected, and constantly running on empty. Over time, chronic stress can contribute to sleep struggles, burnout, hormone imbalance, digestive issues, lowered immunity, and mental health challenges.
Yoga reminds us that healing isn’t found in pushing harder… it’s found in learning the balance between strength and ease. In slowing down enough to hear ourselves again. In breathing deeply enough to tell the body: you are safe now.
This Mental Health Awareness Month, give yourself permission to rest, regulate, and reconnect.
