We have had a busy week here at TWAS. EMS week with lots of grilled food. Thanks to Americu for the donation to buy food for the grill. Thanks to the TWAS BOD for preparing salads and grilling. The backbone of our Agency is the providers. 35 calls handled since Monday morning, 9 Mutual Aid calls to our neighbors including the City of Watertown. 2 serious wrecks on Tuesday handled by TWAS Paramedics with one being flown out. Thanks to all who serve time for us here at TWAS. Your professionalism is appreciated by Management and the Watertown Community.

Mother Nature showed up again this morning in the Town of Watertown. 22 vehicle pile up on RT 81 this morning. We responded with 2 Ambulances with help from South Jeff Rescue and Carthage Rescue who was in the immediate area. We had a 3rd ALS Ambulance enroute but due to the pile up and weather we were unable to get to the scene. Carthage was in area and was able to help out. Great work from all agencies involved. Cmon Spring!!!!

Big Shout Out to the crew at McCabes Supply on RT 232. Heavy snow and I blew a hose on theCompany plow truck on New Years Eve at 4 pm. They took me in, we found the bad one, took it off in their shop, made us a new one and got us on our way !!! Great Service and support for the Community!!! Thank You for the help!!

Last month, our agency held a 12 person, PHTLS course, taught by Paramedic Landerman & Paramedic Bleidorn! These providers spent 2 days strengthening their pre-hospital trauma support skills to better serve the communities they provide in! 🚑

Our furtherest participant came from Indian Lake!
