💛Happy National Sons & Daughters Day!💛

Behind Pine Hill Farm are three sisters with a whole bunch of kids-- a combined 6 daughters and 3 sons who are a super special part of our story.🥰

They’ve grown up watching us dream, build, work (really really hard), and pour our hearts into evolving our business. While they may not realize it yet, they’ve each played a part in the journey that brought us here.❤️

🔎Why we pulled our supplements off Amazon:
The short answer? Because they were pushing us to compromise our standards.🌿

When we began selling our small-batch supplements on Amazon, we realized that continuing to do so would require us to compromise some of the things that make our supplements different (and better).

1️⃣ We want control over how our supplements are stored.
As we quickly grew, Amazon strongly encouraged us to send our supplements to their warehouses, where we would have limited control over the temperature and environmental conditions in which our products were stored. In fact, we'd have no control.

Our supplements are made in small batches and should be stored in a controlled environment that is cool, dry, and protected from light to help preserve product quality. We were not comfortable giving up that control.

2️⃣ We don’t want our products lost in a marketplace where supplement quality is difficult to verify.
The supplement industry (especially on Amazon) has faced recent increasing concerns surrounding counterfeit products, undeclared ingredients, labeling discrepancies, and inconsistent quality control. We don't want our products here.

3️⃣ We wanted a real human connection.
Our Amazon listings were repeatedly deactivated for reasons that were often unclear to us. Even after submitting the requested compliance documentation, getting our products reinstated led us to communicating with automated systems and chatbots rather than a person who understood our products and our business.

So we made the decision to step away from Amazon.
