I think someone wanted a close-up. 😂🐴

This Magnawave session focused from poll to tail, and this girl made sure to let me know she was enjoying the attention.

Those licks say it all! As her family moves her into retirement, the goal is to keep her comfortable and moving her best.

During this session, Magnawave was our primary focus combined with:
💆🏼Massage
❤️Red light
✨Fascia blading
All of which help reduce her inflammation and provide pain relief from arthritis.

Seeing her comfort level increase since adding Magnawave to her sessions has been amazing 🤍

Spent the day with this beauty. 🤍🐴

We paired a walk in the beautiful New York sunshine with some kinesiology taping!

His session started with a full-body massage and a quick MagnaWave session from poll to tail to support relaxation and circulation.

A walk back to the barn was the perfect way to wrap up the session and let him enjoy some gentle movement.

The best part? His mom was so excited to see him happily walking ahead of me. Lately, he hasn’t quite been himself and has been lagging behind on walks. ❤️

And of course...what's a session without a selfie? 📸💙

I'd call that a successful day!

Happy Friday! Here are some fun facts to take into the weekend with you!

Some potential benefits of massage include:

A little throwback 🐴💙

I am still so proud of these horses and everything they accomplished! Watching them go do what they love and seeing the benefits of all the hard work behind the scenes come to life is incredibly rewarding!

The tape on these horses are more than just pretty colors! Kinesiology tape is used for a wide range of purposes.

What it can do:
✨ Provide Support: to muscles and joints while still allowing a full range of motion.
✨ Reduce Pain: by lifting the skin slightly, which may decrease pressure on pain receptors.
✨ Improve Circulation: helping reduce swelling and bruising.
✨ Enhance Body Awareness: allowing the brain to better sense the position and movement of muscles and joints.

Why it looks different from horse to horse:
✨ "I" Strips: Used along muscles (like the spine) to provide support and encourage proper movement.
✨ "Y" or "X" Strips: Wrap around specific muscles, joints, or areas of focus to provide targeted support.
✨ Mesh/Finger Strips: Used to support fluid movement and areas with swelling or congestion.

A few things to remember:
✨ Apply to clean + dry coat
✨ Use round tape edges
✨ Rub the tape to activate the adhesive
✨ Never tape over wounds

I love using kinesiology tape at the end of my sessions, because we can support the horse with all of the above, while not restricting their movement and help the body hold on to the relaxed muscles for a few extra days.

🐴 A closer look at this horse's bodywork session.

This horse received a combination of Kinesiology Taping and MagnaWave as part of their personalized session.

Every horse is different, which is why I tailor each visit to the individual horse, their needs, and the owner's requests. By combining different modalities, I can help support comfort, movement, recovery, and overall wellness.

I think it's safe to say someone was enjoying their MagnaWave and Kinesiology Taping session.

We chose to do a combination of MagnaWave/Massage and Kinesiology Taping to help this horse with overall wellness and relaxation as he enters his senior years.

This session was such a success. We will continue to work together on a monthly basis while he continues to improve!

From an undiagnosed limp to living his best life. 🐾✨

Before working with this sweet pup, he was showing noticeable discomfort in his movement. After a full veterinary workup, normal x-rays and no clear diagnosis, the next step was an MRI.

His owners wanted to explore a different option. Through fate, and a few mutual friends, we found each other!

With his veterinarian's approval, we began weekly bodywork sessions that included:
✨ Massage
✨ MagnaWave
✨ Red Light
✨ Fascia Blading
✨ Kinesiology Taping

Over time, we started to see positive changes in how he was moving and feeling. Weekly sessions became every-other-week sessions, then turned into every three weeks.

Finally, we had the conversation that is most bittersweet to me with my rehabilitation cases: he was back to his normal self and moving great again! We had met our goal!

I always end the conversation with “call me when, or if you need me”!

Seeing this pup move, splash, and play reminds me why I love what I do ❤️

Some days, my favorite assistants come along for the ride. 🤍🐴

I love when I get to share my work with my kids. Not only do they get to meet some of the best animals, but they also learn the value of hard work, kindness, and patience.

While I help animals move their best, they’re busy making memories, asking questions, and sometimes even sneaking in some schoolwork!

These are the days I’ll cherish forever. 🤍✨
