Explore adventure therapy programs that support individuals with psychological disorders. Students will learn the characteristics of selected disorders and will examine therapeutic adventure strategies that have been designed to work with specific identified populations.

2. 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴

This course will provide an overview of current trends regarding spirituality and religion in the practice of professional counseling. Students will learn about topics such as culture, ethics, assessment, and spiritual/religious practices within the context of the professional counselor.”
