Browning Masonic Community is a retirement community located in Waterville, Ohio—providing independent living, assisted living, and our memory support neighborhood. Nestled on 450 scenic acres along the Maumee River in Waterville, Ohio, Browning Masonic Community is a senior living community for those aged 55 and older. Browning Masonic Community provides spacious independent living villa homes, assisted living apartments, as well as a memory support neighborhood. Our person-centered care adjusts as each person’s needs do, so everyone can receive the support they need to live their best life without having to move to a different community.

For our most recent employee Town Hall, we embraced our inner chefs for Chopped - OMC Edition! 👩‍🍳 🍳 🔥

Teams were given challenges and mystery ingredients to work together to create a tasty dish for our judges. It was a close competition, each team came together to create something that was unique and delicious. Winners took home fun culinary inspired prizes! 🙌

Our Town Halls focus on bringing team members from all three of our campuses and our corporate team to focus on connection, communication and, of course, some friendly competition. We spend the day filled with team building, organizational updates, and space to discuss questions, concerns, and connect with different departments.

As we grow older, it has been shown that relationships outside of familial connections, like friendships, can fall to the wayside. Social circles naturally shrink as we age due to career responsibilities, family obligations, and differing interests. However, having meaningful friendships as an older adult have been shown to improve quality of life, reduce stress, and increase overall happiness. 🙌

Our Connecting Realities Memory Support Programming combines innovative technology with compassionate care. By utilizing tools designed to support engagement and communication, we strive to bridge the gap between our residents' experiences and the world around them. 🙌

Technology enhances how we can connect with our residents with Alzheimer's and dementia and also provides immersive experiences that can validate their experiences.
