One of our biggest "cheerleaders" was this AMAZING women Stephanie Trumen!! We are saddened to hear of her passing, and our prayers and thoughts are with her family.

Stephanie was a pillar of R&K from day one to present, and was a huge support for our agency and our staff. Her belief in us was a gift! Her straight forward approaches were delivered with love and laughs!

We were truly blessed to know Stephanie and to work with her. Her energy and smile were always so bright, and that will never be forgotten!!

Stephanie was born on March 5th, 1963 and passed away on December 19th, 2025 at the age of 62

DLS staff receive recurring clinical supervision and training revolving around best practices, ethics, harm reduction, diversity awareness, trauma-informed care, person-centered approaches, and documentation skill development.

TRAINING & SUPERVISION

We provide monthly clinical supervision that meets state and licensing requirements

Assist DLS staff in developing an individual pathway to attain MHRT-C (for screened and eligible candidates)

The Program Coordinator and other agency personnel are always readily available for ongoing support

Paid classes: MHSS, behavioral interventions class, & CPR/First Aid to obtain and maintain your MHRT-1 Certification

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Must have or be eligible to apply for MHRT-1/P or MHRT-1 Certification

Reliable transportation and current car insurance

Case Managers work with individual clients and/or legal guardians to assess the client’s strengths and needs while also collaborating with the identified client to connect them with community resources that focus on promoting wellness and independence. The primary components of this position are to coordinate, advocate, monitor, evaluate, refer, support, and assess individualized services being provided, as well as services that are needed on an ongoing basis. Case Managers receive recurring clinical supervision and training revolving around best practices, ethics, harm reduction, diversity awareness, trauma-informed care, person-centered approaches, and documentation enhancement skills.

Duties:

- Provide case management services to individuals and families in need
- Conduct assessments to determine client needs and develop individualized service plans
- Coordinate and monitor client progress toward achieving goals
- Collaborate with other service providers and community resources to ensure comprehensive support for clients
- Advocate for clients' rights and access to necessary services
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation

This position requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing quality services. Must have MHRT C or MHRT C/P Certificate for Adult Case Management. Must have a B.A. or B.S. in the related field for Children’s Case Management

Please note that a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check are required for this position.
