A major milestone in our transition to a fully electronic health record system at Waters Edge Therapy has officially been completed.

Last week, the initial eight years of archived paper records were securely transported to a certified records management facility for scanning, digitization into our EHR system, and secure long-term storage prior to disposal.

This image captures that important step in motion—boxes of records carefully prepared and transferred with strict attention to privacy, security, and compliance.

As we continue this transition, all records requests may experience delays while this large-scale conversion is completed. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure every record is handled with accuracy and the highest standards of confidentiality.

🎉 UPDATE — Our Second Location Is Coming Together! 🎉

As shared in our initial announcement regarding our second Water’s Edge Therapy location, we wanted to provide a few exciting updates as progress continues behind the scenes! ✨

Our newest location will be opening on Wilton Road in Farmington, Maine.

We are excited to share that the painting has officially been completed, updated plumbing work is finished, and now comes the FUN part — office furniture, décor, and all of the final touches that truly bring the space to life.

Today, we also officially placed our signage order, and it has been incredibly exciting watching everything continue coming together piece by piece.

With provider transitions, waitlist coordination, office setup, furnishing, and final preparations currently underway, we are tentatively planning for an opening date of 07/27/2026.

As we move closer to opening day and details become finalized, we will continue sharing updates — including office information, opening details, available services, and more exciting announcements along the way.

As we expand, we are actively looking for passionate providers to join our growing team, including:

💼 Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) — fully and conditionally licensed

🎉 UPDATE — We’re Getting Closer! 🎉

We are excited to share that our second Waters Edge location has officially received approval pending final move-in completion and finishing touches inside the office! 👏✨

Our new location is on Wilton Road in Farmington.

With provider movement, waitlist coordination, furniture setup, and final preparations underway, we are currently looking at a tentative opening date of 07/27/2026. 💙

As we get closer and everything becomes finalized, we will share additional details, including the official opening time, location information, and more exciting updates.

We are also currently hiring both clinical and community-based providers to join our growing team. We are looking for:

**EHR Implementation Update**

We’re excited to share an update on our new Electronic Health Record (EHR) system!

Our soft rollout began on April 6, 2026, and we are continuing to expand its use across the agency. A broader rollout is currently underway, with full implementation expected by June 1, 2026.

As we move forward, we kindly ask for your continued support:

* Please ensure we have a valid, up-to-date email address on file. This is where important documents will be sent. Delays in returning required documents may result in a disruption of services.
* If your provider has not yet requested your email address, please call the main office—Tiffany will be happy to assist you.

* If you receive Case Management (CM) services, you may also notify your Case Manager, and they will update this information for you.

This new system will allow you to review and sign documents from home, your car, work, or anywhere you can access the portal. You will also have access to your own client portal for a smoother, more efficient experience.

Need a note for school or work? Simply call, and we can quickly access it through the EHR and send it to you electronically—just one of the many benefits of this new system.

As we transition, all paper documents will be securely moved to a HIPAA-compliant location for scanning. This ensures your records are safely added to your EHR file and easily accessible when needed.

We understand that change can feel challenging, and we truly appreciate your patience. Our team is here to support you every step of the way and will do our best to minimize any impact on your experience.

Our office will be closed Monday, April 20th in observance of Patriots’ Day.

At Waters Edge Therapy, we recognize the importance of rest, reflection, and time to recharge—key parts of maintaining mental and emotional well-being. We encourage you to take this time to slow down and care for yourselves.

We’re excited to share an update on our new Electronic Health Record (EHR) system!

Our soft rollout began on 04/06/2026, and we are continuing to expand use across the agency. Broader rollout is underway, with full implementation expected by 06/01/2026.

As we move forward, we kindly ask for your continued support:
