☕️🫖When in doubt... pinkies out! 🫖🍵

Today we had a tea party to celebrate National Iced Tea Day! We served iced tea, iced chai, and of course there were snacks! After all, what is a tea party without cucumber finger sandwiches, cake, and fresh fruit! Vern & Vern joined us to play some live music. The Residents wore their tea party hats that they decorated in activities on Monday!

Our Family Fun Day was a massive success! 🎉 It was wonderful to see so many families, friends, and neighbors come together to connect, laugh, and make lasting memories. A huge thank you to our incredible team and everyone who came out to join us. We couldn't have done it without you! 🫶

We were honored to have Rick Ziebart from American Legion Post 23 join us at the Resident Home! Rick shared the history and origin of the Memorial Poppy and read a beautiful poem!

After the presentation, the residents were gifted their own remembrance poppies and poppy pins to wear proudly. Thank you to Post 23 for taking the time to come and talk to us! 🌺

Yesterday we took some of our residents on a fishing trip! We enjoyed the time outdoors and it's safe to say we are hooked on making our resident smile!

Rumor has it the fish get's bigger every time we tell the story! 😉
