If you've ever felt guilty for not being able to just enjoy what's good in your life, this one's for you.

This is something I’ve shared with clients and I wanted to put it out more widely. Understanding why the brain defaults to worry, rumination, and dread, rather than contentment, is a liberating understanding. It doesn't make the hard feelings disappear, but it can change how you think about them.

https://www.thewisemindgroup.com/learn/if-youre-not-happy-its-not-your-fault-but-it-is-your-responsibility?fbclid=IwZnRzaARm79ZleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZA8xNzM4NDc2NDI2NzAzNzAAAR47Xx3C0eWk8Zad6z1Pzg5iYSnsEhAs2KwK5DhoYQYdKXX7oT0FRLEQz33hkw_aem_JZ1YdmOw0L4zPubpdiFG_Q

Your brain was built to survive, not to flourish. Learn why the negativity bias keeps joy out of reach, and three evidence-based practices to start rewiring that default.

Everyone talks about avoidant attachment like it's just someone who needs space. But no one talks about what it feels like to love someone who pulls away every time things get real.

It's exhausting. Lonely. Confusing. And it makes you question if you're asking for too much when all you want is connection.

Like this if you've been on this side and follow for more on understanding attachment in relationships.

I like this :-)

Not every repair needs to be a full accounting. Sometimes what the relationship needs first is simply the warmth back. The conversation can happen when both people can do it well.

Choosing connection over resolution in the right moments is its own kind of maturity.

Save this for the next time you need it.
