Ten years ago, I’m pretty sure my best friends thought I was crazy. 😂
Actually, if we asked them today, I think they’d admit that what I was dreaming about sounded more like a fairytale than something that could ever become reality.
But I was certain it was what God was calling me to do.
People often ask me, “How do you know when God is speaking to you?”
The best way I can explain it is that sometimes I just know I’m supposed to pursue something. And with that knowing comes an intense restlessness deep inside me that simply will not go away until I take a step of faith.
Sometimes the vision feels so big that even I question whether I’m crazy for pursuing it. But I’ve learned that the discomfort of stepping out in faith is nothing compared to the wrestling I feel when I try to ignore what God has placed on my heart.
And here we are. ❤️
I look at Innovative Wellness Center today, and I genuinely feel like I’m living in the middle of a fairytale that only God could have written.
I have never felt like what we are building is truly mine. It’s His. And I am incredibly humbled and grateful that He has entrusted me with the opportunity to steward it.
The team we have. The patients who trust us. The relationships we’ve built. The privilege of having a front-row seat to healing, breakthroughs, and lives being transformed every single day.
Sometimes I can hardly believe I get to be part of it all.
Our open houses have always been about so much more than celebrating a business. They are a celebration of the people, the purpose, the stories, and the community that make Innovative Wellness what it is.
And this week’s event was such a beautiful reminder of all of it.
The turnout was incredible. But what moved me most wasn’t the number of people who walked through our doors.
It was the laughter. The hugs. The conversations. The testimonies.
It was watching our patients bring the people they love most into a place that has meant so much to them. Hearing them share their experiences, tell their stories, and introduce their friends and family to the team that has walked alongside them.
There is something so incredibly humbling about watching people you once dreamed of helping become the very people who are helping your dream reach others.
I don’t know that I’ll ever have the words to fully express what that means to me.
So today, I just want to say thank you.
To every person who has believed in me when the vision seemed impossible.
To everyone who has trusted our team with their health.
To those who share our name, tell their stories, bring their friends, show up to our events, encourage us, and pray for us.
And to our incredible team, who pours their hearts into this mission every single day.
You are all part of something so much bigger than any one of us.
Ten years ago, it sounded like a fairytale.
Today, I get to watch it unfold right before my eyes.
And I am more convinced than ever that when God places something on your heart, no matter how impossible it seems, it’s worth having the courage to pursue it.
