Calling All Crocheters 🧶
We are looking for volunteers who would be willing to create small crochet animals for care packages given to families experiencing stillbirth and infant loss.
When a family leaves the hospital without the baby they expected to bring home, the grief can feel overwhelming. These care packages are designed to offer comfort, support, and a reminder that their baby mattered and will always be remembered.
A handmade crochet animal may seem like a small gift, but for many grieving parents, it becomes a treasured keepsake—a tangible reminder of love, connection, and the life of a deeply loved child. Sometimes having something soft to hold can provide comfort when words simply aren't enough.
The care packages will be distributed through local hospitals.
If you crochet and would like to donate your time and talent, we would love to connect with you. Every animal made is a gift of compassion, remembrance, and hope.
💜Please comment below or send us a message for more information.
Because every baby deserves to be remembered.
Looking for: Small crochet animals (approximately 4–8 inches), soft yarn, securely attached features, and neutral or pastel colors preferred. Whether you're an experienced crocheter or just getting started, we'd love your help. Patterns can be provided by Sue for anyone who would like guidance or a ready-to-use design.
