Yoga has never been about touching your toes.
At its heart, yoga is the lifelong practice of paying attention.
At Aeaea, our practice is rooted in the traditional Ashtanga Yoga method, a lineage that honors yoga as far more than physical exercise. While strength, flexibility, and balance naturally develop, the real practice is quieter: cultivating presence, discipline, self-awareness, and a steadier relationship with yourself.
I’ve been teaching yoga for more than twenty years, and one thing has remained true throughout that journey: no two practitioners are the same.
Every body, every history, every season of life asks for something different. Every practitioner receives personalized guidance, thoughtful adjustments, and the freedom to practice in a way that supports their own body and their own path.
Because yoga isn’t about becoming someone else.
It’s about coming home to yourself.
It is an ancient practice that meets us exactly where we are, and gently invites us toward where we are becoming.
