Residents at Mount View Care Center were treated to a wonderful musical performance by local concertina legend Dan Gruetzmacher.

Residents enjoyed listening, singing along, and reminiscing as Dan shared his talent and passion for music with us. Thank you, Dan, for bringing so much joy and tradition to our residents through your performance!

On Tuesday, residents at MVCC got their hands dirty during a fun and educational planting activity! Residents planted African Violets and learned all about plant propagation and how to grow new plants and keep them thriving. We can’t wait to watch these beautiful plants continue to grow!

On Friday, residents from Mount View Care Center enjoyed a special outing to the home of the Wausau Woodchucks. Residents were welcomed by Woody the mascot, who gave everyone a fun tour of the ballpark and helped make the day unforgettable.

One of the most meaningful moments of the visit was when Woody presented Kat with a special Woodchucks bobblehead in honor of her strength, courage, and inspirational recovery journey. This outing also marked her first trip out of the building, making the day even more special for everyone involved.

Thank you to the Woodchucks organization and Woody for creating such a memorable experience for our residents.

The sounds of New Orleans filled Mount View Care Center today as Dixie Time brought residents to their feet with an energetic performance full of jazz, swing, and classic Dixieland spirit.

Our residents are enjoying this beautiful sunny day out on the MVCC Tower Patio for our Garden & Planting Event!

Everyone is hard at work cleaning up the patio, planting colorful flowers, and getting our garden started for the season. We're planting cucumbers along with a variety of flowers to help brighten the space for everyone to enjoy!

On Friday, our residents enjoyed a wonderful day at Big Eau Pleine County Park with rides through the park using motorized outdoor wheelchairs and Trishaw bikes! Residents also enjoyed relaxing by the fire, sharing laughs, and of course s’mores!

It was a beautiful day filled with adventure, connection, and great memories outdoors. Thank you to everyone who helped make the outing so special!
