Wausau Manor Health Services We provide long and short-term care to seniors in the Wausau and surrounding community. Our center is Medicare and Medicaid certified.

Wausau Health Services is a leading provider of long-term skilled nursing care and short-term rehabilitation solutions. Our 68 bed, 36 private room center offers a full continuum of services and care focused around each individual in today's ever-changing health care environment. Wausau Health Services serves Marathon County, and is located on the bluff above Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Last week, our residents enjoyed celebrating National Coffee with a Cop Day with a visit from the Wausau Police Department.

Residents spent the morning chatting, asking questions, and sharing stories over coffee and doughnuts. Thank you to the Wausau Police Department for joining us and making it such an enjoyable morning for everyone!

Meet Taslima, our Executive Director in Training at Wausau Manor Health Services!

Taslima is a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where she is pursuing her degree in Health Care Administration. As part of her year-long administrative residency, she is gaining hands-on experience at Wausau Manor Health Services and learning more about the many aspects of long-term care leadership.

A 2023 graduate of Stevens Point Area Senior High, Taslima grew up in Stevens Point and is actively involved in the student chapter of The American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA).

During her residency, Taslima will gain experience across various departments while developing her understanding of healthcare operations, long-term care management, resident-centered care, and leadership.

"I chose healthcare because I care deeply about older adults and want to give them the best care that I can. I am most excited about learning what it takes to run a long-term care facility." – Taslima

Taslima is passionate about creating positive experiences for residents and supporting the people who care for them every day. She looks forward to building meaningful connections, contributing wherever she can, and continuing to grow as a future healthcare leader.

At North Shore Health, we believe in providing opportunities for students to learn, grow, and discover what it means to make a difference in long-term care. We are proud to partner with the UWEC Health Care Administration program and provide students with hands-on learning and mentorship as they take the next steps in their careers.
