Up here on the hill on North 7th Street, surrounded by warm brick, potted flowers, and lush green treetops under a clear sky, the pace is entirely different. No bustling downtown traffic, no construction noise—just fresh air, quiet corners, and a peaceful view that invites you to sit back and breathe for a moment.

Sometimes progress is exciting, but spaces like this remind us of the value of simple, quiet charm.

It takes a dedicated village to build a sanctuary! 🌸

We are so proud to share that our Granite Rock Monarch Butterfly Garden has received official recognition as a Monarch Waystation. Thanks to the vision and leadership of our very own Molly H—and the hard work of our Friends of Homme since this spring—our residents and visiting families now have a flourishing haven on our grounds to enjoy side-by-side with nature.

A huge thank-you to everyone who helped plant the seeds for this lovely retreat! 🦋

📍 Scheduler/PCA

💰 $19 - $22 an hour

Primary Purpose:

The primary purpose of your job is to maintain the staffing needs of the Stone Crest Residence (CBRF) and The Garden Apartments (RCAC) and provide clerical support.

Brief examples, not limited to:

This position will supervise the Homme Wausau Campus Schedule, track attendance, provide support in preparing documentation for any disciplinary action, and perform general administrative duties assigned by the manager, as well as cover open shifts that arise on the schedule, staff vacations and call-ins.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Experience: Scheduling: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person

Our staff motto, “Onward and Upward,” is all about moving on and aiming high, but Homme Adult Day Center Coordinator -- Sheila H. -- took it literally. She recently took the controls as a guest pilot, soaring right over campus to give us a wave from above.

Fresh air, warm sunshine, and a whole lot of gooey goodness!

Participants at Homme Adult Day Center enjoyed the great outdoors the best way we know how—gathered together, roasting marshmallows, and enjoying delicious, sticky s'mores. It was a wonderful afternoon full of fresh breezes, laughter, and sweet treats.
