Teenagers may be young, but their bodies are still dealing with plenty of physical stress.
A teen who repeatedly complains about headaches, neck tension, back discomfort or soreness after activity shouldn't automatically be told:
"You're too young to hurt."
Pain isn't reserved for adults.
We want young patients to learn early that taking care of their bodies, paying attention to movement and speaking up when something doesn't feel right are good habitsโnot something they should wait until they're 40 to learn.
