Child of God, hear me now.

When you want to grow spiritually in the things of God, understand that there are some people you may need to disconnect and disassociate from.

Why? Because some people can make you move backwards spiritually. Some friendships can even lead you into backsliding.

Not every friendship is healthy when you give your life to Christ. This is why some people repent and, after a few months or years, find themselves returning to their old ways.

The circle of friends you keep can greatly influence how far you grow in your walk with God and in your Christian faith.

So, be very careful and intentional about the people you surround yourself with. Choose friends who will encourage your faith, strengthen your walk with God, and help you become more like Christ.

If you are not careful, the wrong company can pull you backwards.

Choose your friends wisely. Protect your spiritual growth.
