What is the DESTRESS Protocol?

One of the biggest things I’ve learned through becoming an Integrative Health Practitioner is that we can’t look at ONE symptom and expect to understand the whole person.

Dr. Stephen Cabral’s DESTRESS Protocol gives us a framework for looking at health from multiple angles:

Why does this matter?

Because your fatigue may not just be about sleep.

🎓 I DID IT — IHP LEVEL 3 COMPLETE!

After years of studying, learning, asking why, and continuing to dig deeper into how the body works as a whole… I officially completed Integrative Health Practitioner Level 3!

And I received my newest certificate today! ❤️

This is a BIG milestone for me, but what excites me most isn't another certificate on the wall.

It's what this allows me to bring to my clients at Infinite Kinetics.

As an Integrative Health Practitioner, I now have advanced training in functional lab testing and can work with testing that looks deeper into areas such as:

• Gut health, bacteria & parasites
• Food sensitivities
• Candida, vitamins & metabolic markers
• Minerals & heavy metals
• Omega-3s & inflammation
• Stress, mood & metabolism
• Men's & women's hormones
• Women's fertility
• Mold & mycotoxins

• Neurotransmitter patterns

Why does this matter?

When it comes to the body, more isn’t always better. Sometimes it’s about BALANCE.

I recently worked with a client using the Body Code, and an excess associated with the color RED came up. Interestingly, she had also been doing a significant amount of red light therapy without balancing another color.

So what did we do?

We looked at the color wheel.

Red and green sit opposite one another on the traditional color wheel, making them complementary colors. Within the energetic framework we were using, GREEN was selected to help balance the excess associated with RED.

This is one of the reasons I love looking at the body as a whole. Something can be beneficial and still not necessarily be what your body needs MORE of at that particular moment.

Red light therapy can be an incredible recovery tool, but wellness isn't about doing as much as possible.

It's about asking: What does my body need right now?

Through Body Code work, nervous system assessments, movement, recovery therapies, and other tools at Infinite Kinetics, we work to individualize care instead of assuming everyone needs the same thing.

Your body is constantly giving us information.

Sometimes we need to stimulate.
Sometimes we need to calm.
Sometimes we need to support.

And sometimes, we simply need to **bring things back into balance.

Working with children is one of our FAVORITE things we get to do at Infinite Kinetics.

We often receive pediatric referrals for children struggling with things like:

• Anxiety or feeling constantly overwhelmed
• Mood swings and irritability
• Difficulty sleeping
• Emotional outbursts or reactivity
• Headaches and brain fog
• Difficulty focusing
• Unexplained aches and pains

When a child comes through our doors, we don't simply look at the behavior, we look at the nervous system first.

Is their body constantly stuck in a heightened stress response? Is their nervous system having difficulty regulating and adapting to everything happening around them?

From there, we determine what type of care may be appropriate for that individual child.

Recently, we had a pediatric client referred to us who was extremely reactive to the world around her. She was frequently fighting with her siblings, arguing with her family, and also experiencing headaches, brain fog, and physical pain.

After ONE visit, her mom noticed something different almost immediately: She was calm!!!

She went home, played with her siblings without fighting, and wasn't arguing with her parents.

At her follow-up, we checked in on the physical symptoms she had reported at her first appointment—and those symptoms had cleared as well.

Now we're continuing to work with her once a week over the next 2–4 weeks while we evaluate how she responds over time.

And the next big test?

School starts next week.

That's when we'll get to see how her nervous system handles a completely different environment, schedule, and level of stimulation.

Every child is different, and one child's results don't guarantee another's—but changes like these are exactly why we love working with our pediatric clients.
