Today, we are honored to share something that means a great deal to our family.

Our chapel at the Grisier Funeral Home in Stryker has been officially renamed the Frederick William Grisier Funeral Chapel, in loving memory of my grandfather, Fred.

For decades, Fred devoted his life to serving families during some of their most difficult moments. His compassion, steady presence, and genuine care touched countless lives throughout our communities, but Stryker always held a special place in his heart. He believed that every family deserved to be treated with dignity, kindness, and respect, and he lived those values every single day.

While a name on a wall cannot fully capture the legacy he leaves behind, we hope this dedication serves as a lasting reminder of the servant’s heart that shaped not only our funeral home, but our family and the community we are privileged to serve.

As the sixth generation of the Grisier family, it is both a privilege and a responsibility to carry forward the example he set. We remain committed to serving every family with the same compassion, integrity, and personal care that Fred demonstrated throughout his life.

Thank you, Fred, for the foundation you built, the lives you touched, and the legacy that continues to guide us.
