Does your foot pancake? 🥞

Your foot touches the ground first, so when it goes flat, it doesn’t stay a foot problem. It changes your ankle, your knee, your hip, even the way you walk.

Most people get told to prop the arch up. That’s not the same as making it strong.

Swipe through to see what’s actually going on, and how to start waking your foot back up.

Think your feet are flatter than they should be? Comment PANCAKE and I’ll send you my free Flat Foot Assessment so you can see what your feet are actually doing 👇

Meet the talus. 🦴

This little bone is where your ankle hands force off into your foot. When it doesn’t move well, your body doesn’t just stop, it finds a way around it. Up the outside of the ankle, twisting through the knee, loading the hip differently. That’s usually when something else starts hurting.

When I get the talus moving again, I’m not just working on your ankle. I’m restoring the path force is supposed to take, through the foot, not around it.

He hadn’t moved his ankle in 20 years.

Broke a growth plate there at twelve. Ever since, he figured that range of motion was just gone for good, something he’d have to live with.

We did some ankle mobilization in office. It was still there.

Nobody ever told his body it was allowed to move again after it healed, so it just… didn’t. He works in healthcare. Even he never caught it.

Sometimes it’s not gone. It’s just never been asked to come back.

Curious if your feet or ankles have a story like that too? Comment PANCAKE and I’ll send you the free flat feet assessment 🥞👇

I was told as a kid I couldn’t join the service. Flat feet. Orthotics. Heel cups. A podiatrist making me random things to wear on my foot. Broken heels mid Chicago Marathon. Foot pain wasn’t something I had, it was who I was. Then in 2017 I got tired of it. First pair of barefoot shoes I ever owned, I wore them to the mall with my mom. Could not walk the next day. Here’s the thing nobody tells you: you don’t just put on barefoot shoes, you earn your way into them. Now I wear them to work every single day. Forty thousand steps at Disney, zero pain. Walked an eight k in Romania in sandals over sidewalks with chunks missing out of them. Feet can change. Mine did.

Wisconsin Docs, I'm hiring an Associate Chiropractor 👀
Front Runner Performance + Recovery is a boutique sports chiropractic practice in Wauwatosa, just outside Milwaukee, and I'm looking for the next great doctor to join us.
We work with runners, athletes, lifters, and active adults who want to keep doing the things they love. We're high-touch, not high-volume, and use chiropractic, ART, Shockwave, EMTT, and rehab depending on what the patient actually needs.
I'm looking for someone who fits the culture.
You don't have to be a marathon runner, but health, fitness, movement, and taking care of your own body should genuinely be part of your life. Our patients are active people, and I want a doctor who gets them.
This is also NOT an "empty schedule, good luck!" associate position.
Front Runner already generates demand, and I want to intentionally feed new patients to this doctor so they can build a patient book that becomes truly theirs.
I also want someone who wants to BUILD with us. That means getting involved in the community, developing relationships, showing up at a run club or events, and eventually becoming a doctor people specifically ask for.
The basics:
• $60K base with protected 90-day ramp
• Uncapped bonus with a realistic path to $75K-$100K+
• $1,000/year CE allowance
• Additional ART training/certification opportunities after ramp
• Established brand + new-patient flow
• Boutique sports practice, not high-volume care
• Real opportunity to build and own your patient book
I'm looking for someone coachable, clinically curious, active, great with people, and excited to become part of the Milwaukee sports community.
If you're thinking "okay, this actually sounds like me," message me.
And if it sounds like someone you know, tag her. 👇

Your ankle sprain did this.

Not broken. Just stuck, going the wrong way. To walk right, your shin has to turn one direction. After a sprain, it turns the other way instead. Easier. Less pain. Wrong direction.

So your hip and knee pick up the slack. Every step. Every squat. Forever, until someone fixes the ankle.

Stretch your hip all day. Strengthen your knee all day. Won’t matter. Fix where it started.

Told you - you can’t stretch torn fibers back together. Here’s what actually does it. (Missed part 1? Scroll back first, this’ll make way more sense.)

This is Shockwave, and I promise it’s less dramatic than it sounds. High-energy sound waves that force tissue that’s stopped healing to actually restart. Mechanical, not passive, which is exactly why it works when rest, ice, and stretching already didn’t.

We pair it with specific loading exercises too, because once healing restarts, the tissue needs the right kind of stress to rebuild strong. It’s not one or the other. It’s both, together.

Ask anyone who’s had it: pressure, a little pulse, not pain-free but not brutal either.

If your foot pain’s been stuck for months, this might be your missing piece.

Frayed knee, worst possible timing to notice it. Here’s why I’m pointing it out.

That’s basically what your plantar fascia looks like after months of pain. Stretching doesn’t put the fibers back together - it just pulls tension around the tear. Icing it doesn’t touch the tear either. Neither would a patch - it just covers the damage.

So what actually repairs torn fibers? That’s part 2. 👀

We’re hiring - but not for a credential. For a mindset.

If somewhere in your training you had a soft-tissue class, an ART elective, something that wasn’t the adjustment, and it rewired how you saw this whole field - we want to talk to you.

Front Runner is built on “no packages, no pressure” and “we don’t tell people to stop moving.” If that’s how you already think, you’d fit here before you ever walk in the door.
