There are a lot of opinions about hyperbaric oxygen therapy… but not all of them are grounded in science.

We’re giving a few well-deserved red cards to some of the biggest myths we hear every day:

🟥 “It’s the same as an oxygen bar.”
🟥 “Higher pressure is always better.”
🟥 “Everybody heals eventually.”
🟥 “It’s just another wellness fad.”
🟥 “It’s only for wound care.”
🟥 “All hyperbaric chambers are the same.”

📣 New Partnership Announcement!

I’m excited to share that MD Hyperbaric is partnering with Mike McGivern and the Varsity Blitz radio program to help educate listeners about the benefits of hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

I had the opportunity to join Mike in the studio this morning to talk about HBOT, answer questions, and hear from patients who shared their own experiences. Mike talked about his treatment journey, and Jadin O’Brien fro@tbe US Women’s Olympic Bobsled team called in to share how HBOT at MD Hyperbaric has helped her athletic recovery as well.

One of my goals has always been to make hyperbaric oxygen therapy more understood and more accessible. Partnering with trusted voices in our community is a great way to do exactly that.
