We want to offer a huge shoutout to the Institute of Museum and Library Services, for their vast and valued support of furthering genealogical and historical research, in especially hard to reach areas of Appalachia, like Pike County.

We would be remiss, if we did not mention the work of the State Library of Ohio, and the efforts they extend to support all of Ohio's Residents and every size and type of library in Ohio.

As we celebrate our 250th Anniversary, having this new machines capabilities, for our research now is so extremely helpful.

Thank you also to the Garnet A. Wilson Public Library of Pike County, which helps provide so many research opportunities and abilities to our community.

Whether you're researching your family history, exploring local newspapers, or uncovering Pike County's rich past, this new equipment offers faster scanning, sharper images, and the ability to save or print your discoveries with ease.

This project was made possible in part by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the State Library of Ohio. We are grateful for their support in helping us preserve local history while making it more accessible for our community.
